Task Leadership
There are a variety of different types of leaders and leadership styles. None of these leadership styles is right for all people or situations. One who works in one situation may not work in another. One type of leadership is task leadership, which is the goal-directed or goal-oriented type of leadership. This type of leadership is good when you need to stay focused on goals and move as a unit toward common objectives.
