Accidental Chaining

Accidental chaining learning, by reinforcement, is the sequence of two or more actions that includes an act unnecessary to obtain reinforcement (see also chaining). This occurs as a result of accidental temporal conjunction between the unnecessary act and a stimulus circumstance that precedes a reinforced response.
